Responsibility

Compliance & Integrity

Ethics, compliance, and responsible conduct

At PetroAlianza, compliance and integrity are essential components of our corporate responsibility. We act under principles of legality, transparency, confidentiality, and responsible business conduct, ensuring that our operations, commercial relationships, and internal processes follow applicable regulations, contractual commitments, and the organization’s internal policies.

Our compliance approach seeks to protect business continuity, strengthen trust with clients, employees, suppliers, banks, partners, and institutions, and ensure that every decision is made with responsibility, traceability, and ethical judgment. For PetroAlianza, integrity is not an isolated principle: it is a daily practice that guides how we operate, represent the organization, and build sustainable relationships.

Policies and guidelines

Anti-corruption & bribery

We prohibit requesting, accepting, offering, or promising payments, commissions, gifts, benefits, or undue advantages intended to influence decisions, commercial relationships, contractual processes, or institutional actions.

Conflicts of interest

We act in the organization’s best interest and promote timely identification of situations that could compromise impartiality, independence, or transparency in decision-making.

Gifts & hospitality

Requesting or accepting gifts, favors, or benefits that could compromise objectivity or create a perception of undue influence is not permitted. Only symbolic courtesies are allowed, within limits defined by the organization.

Confidentiality & information protection

We protect the corporate, technical, financial, commercial, contractual, and personal information we access. It must be handled responsibly, confidentially, and in accordance with applicable internal guidelines.

Due diligence & institutional relationships

We promote responsible relationships with clients, banks, suppliers, partners, authorities, and institutions. Our management relies on documentation, traceability, and information control to respond to due diligence processes, audits, tenders, and corporate requirements.

Ethics channel & committee

We have internal mechanisms to address questions, reports, or complaints related to ethics, compliance, and integrity. These mechanisms promote a culture of responsibility, follow-up, and continuous improvement within the organization.
